Imagine coming home to Jesse after being away for quite awhile. You expect him to be at the door waiting for you, but he is nowhere to be found when you step inside. Actually, it was a little too quiet for your liking.
You call out to him as you set down your things and suddenly you hear the heavy tapping of footsteps. It grows louder and quicker with every passing second and before you have time to react, Jesse flings himself on you and you fall to the ground wrapped in him embrace.
He smothers you in kisses and whines about how much he missed you. You dare not fight it and just let him get all that pent up affection out.
You didn’t remember taking on a puppy for a boyfriend. ;3c
Thank you for your patience, I know your ask came in a couple of days ago. First thing, I apologize for the length. I realize some people enjoy reading straight to the point stories but I’ve realized I like to develop my stories a tad bit. I also changed a bit of the circumstances so the stories could be told more effectively, but they generally all share the same concept. Please enjoy.
I hope you don’t mind, babe, I didn’t include a picture for these (I’m totally not doing this from my school computer, no way.) I just list what it is, then talk a bit about it. I hope this is alright! I put it below a cut in case it gets long.
McCree:
“Reverse Cowgirl.” No pun intended I swear to god. Jesse just likes this because of the angle, and because he can be lazy while you ride him. That, and he likes grabbing your ass and thighs, and seeing you smile back at him
McCree pulled you aside after dinner to speak to you alone.
“I wantah propose something to ya.”
Propose?! It was so sudden. So serious. The ceiling spun, and your consciousness was fading.
“Y-y-you,” you spluttered.
Jesse threw his head back and outright cackled. “Naw, naw,” he said, wiping a tear away from his eye while you glared at him.
After he stopped laughing at you, you arched a brow at Jesse, waiting for him to clarify.
“I meant I want to ask ya something,” he said. “Something important.”
“Go on,” you urged.
“Remember that last fella I saved, the one with the thick mop of grey hair?” You nodded. “Well, turns out the man’s rich out his rear. I took my cut, and I bought a patch of land. It’s not much, but we could live off it. Raise animals or whatever ya like. If you…if you want to join me.”
“I see,” was all you could answer at the moment.
“But I have to warn ya. About mahself,” Jesse removed his hat and held it to his stomach. “With my luck, somethin’ bad’ll happen. And if you don’t want to get involved with that, I’d understand.” He finished quietly, somberly. He’d had a tough life, and it had dealt him a bad hand many times.
But he’s wrong, you thought. Jesse was a dependable man when he put his mind to it. If something bad happened, you could count on him to stick with you through it.
“Jesse,” you said, staring at him earnestly, “Don’t be ridiculous! Of course I’ll go with you.”
A smile grew slowly across his face. You couldn’t help beaming back.
“In that case,” Jess said, sidling in a little closer, “I have something to show ya.”
You said a quiet, “Oh?” as he plucked his hat off his head. On top of his messy, brown hair was perched a ball of yellow fluff. The yellow fluff twitched, and a tiny, black eye appeared. It was a baby chick, and it cheeped softly at being woken up by the light.

• He had never thought of the possibility. Deep down, he still didn’t believe that he was deserving of a family, of a wife, of a child.
• That being said, he doesn’t know how to react. He’s conflicted, one side of him being completely ecstatic and the other convincing him that somehow he’d mess everything up.
• However, he ends up being a great father! During the pregnancy he can get a tiny bit stifling, what with him trying to monitor your foods, drinks, sleeping patterns, exercise (tell him to ease up a bit and he will, though, because above all he understands that you’re the one carrying the baby). He’ll give you massages and stay awake to soothe you when you can’t sleep. To him, both your mental and physical health are extremely important.
• He doesn’t cry when the baby is born but his eyes do get watery, though he won’t admit it. He helps out as much as possible after the pregnancy, knowing that you’ve been tired out and worn down. A light sleeper, so more often than not he ends up being the one cooing the baby back to sleep on particularly restless nights. Will lie beside the baby as they’re learning to crawl, holding toys above their head and encouraging them to move.

• At first he’s completely and utterly over the moon. To have a family again was the one thing he truly wanted, and he was really excited for the baby’s birth.
• However, he’s quick to rethink where you are in your lives. He’s still a mercenary, wanted by a good percentage of law enforcements. He wants you to have a safe, protected life, and it’s for that reason that he moves you both from the city and into the countryside. It’s safer, cleaner, healthier, and you’re both happy.
• He’s the dad that will read up on babies. He’s confused at first, overwhelmed, even, by the sudden influx of information, but as time passes, he begins to get a hold on things. Will be the one to say hey, that’s not good for the baby or here’s a better option.
• He paints the nursery by himself, because the paint fumes are bad for the baby, darlin’, and stays up late to finish it in time. He tries to keep you off your feet as long as possible, keep you relaxed and rested.
• He chokes up when the baby’s born. Cradles them in his arms, rocks them back and forth, and lies next to you, kissing your forehead and saying look at what we made in awe. While you rest he’ll try and constantly have the baby in his arms, still not completely trusting of everybody in the hospital.
• When he’s the one to wake up during the night, he tends to bring the baby back to bed. He lets the little infant sleep soundly on his chest, and feels much better knowing that his child and his wife are both safe beside him.

• His first thought is this can’t happen. Not now. He leads a life much too dangerous for any child, and he was still reluctant to let you get involved in any of his… after-hours activities.
• But you won’t give up the baby, he knows that without even asking, and he’s not about to abandon the woman he loves when she needs him most.
• He tries to come home earlier and avoid conflict where he can — which is hard, and God knows the guilt he feels when he stumbles into the apartment, broken and bloody, needing you to patch him up. Other than that, he makes sure that you’re eating properly and avoiding stress as much as possible. He tries to convince you to stop waiting up for him, but you’re as headstrong as he is and so you compromise; he comes home before 11, and you don’t have to wait up for him.
• As much as he’d love for the baby to legally be his as they are physically, it’s something he can’t risk. His name doesn’t go on the birth cert and the baby takes your last name, something that upsets him but he’s done for the greater good.
• Although he’s strong, he can be hard on himself. Sit him down and make sure he knows that he’s made tonnes of sacrifices in his life — the birth of your baby is something he should savour, something that he could take pride in.
• That being said, he spends as much time as possible with you and the baby. He’ll feed them, change diapers, play, nap, anything. He wants to be as close as he can be, and if that means losing a few hours of shut-eye to soothe the wailing baby back to sleep at 4AM, so be it.

• Yet another one who didn’t think it was possible. He had never given it thought, considering a large portion of himself was robotic. He had thought he wasn’t able to have children (which was something he had secretly wanted since he was young), so yes, he does cry when you tell him.
• He spends less time out and about and more time taking care of you. He gets much more hands-on; a constant hand on your hips, on your waist or shoulder. Maybe he wants to make sure you’re constantly out of harms way — maybe he’s taken a certain liking to the way your stomach has swelled…
• He suggests that you try out yoga to reduce some of the uncomfortableness of your pregnancy, and he’ll instruct you through each pose. Also, he gets you an exercise ball that comes in handy during contractions, too.
• The baby’s always laughing because of him. He’ll throw them and catch them (almost giving you a heart attack), he’ll blow on their stomach and nuzzle his nose into their neck, anything that will have them giggling.
• You help him decorate the nursery. It turns out beautiful, with a dragon mobile hanging above the baby’s cradle and little paintings on the walls. He even gives the baby a little bird plushie, and the baby’s never seen without it.
• He makes it a priority to raise the child the opposite way that he was. Although he doubts that his child and future children would fall as much as Hanzo and he did, he still makes it a point to never shame his children for their emotions, to let them love and care freely.
