Your sonkeigo–polite Japanese–was clumsy on your lips, spilling forth like water against a steep bed of uneven rocks as you made your report to Shimada Sojiro. The man was regal even when wearing little more than the equivalent of pajamas–jinbei, you later remember–and a happi over his shoulders. Beside him were his two heirs–Hanzo and Genji Shimada. Surrounding you are your future colleagues, dressed in the same suit you were (and some with bandages as an indicator of the ass-whooping you’ve bestowed upon them during your test.)
“In light of your abilities, I will assign you to my son, Genji.” The announcement makes your heart swell and you fight the smile that tries to make it way onto your face–you’re well on your way to completing your mission of infiltration and information gathering. However, the young man in question rolls his eyes and sticks his tongue out for which his brother smacks him in the shoulder for. “The head of his guards, Asahi, will guide you. I expect you both to take care of each other.”
You bow deeply. “I understand, Master Shimada. Thank you for this honor.”
“Peh, don’t be so happy about it, newbie,” your new master calls with almost childish disdain. “We’ll see just how much of an honor it is.”
Patience, it seems, is going to have to be your greatest and most elusive ally.
I chose ‘you know i love to hold your hand, but today you just look too good from behind’. I haven’t heard that voice line yet (although I haven’t had time to play retribution too many times), but damn it just hits you right in the feels. (also i should be doing my work but fuck it, procrastination is the way to go apparently.)
You’re admittedly not a fan of physical contact, so it’s rare that you meet someone else who has the same level of aversion to touch as you do. And goddammit it’s just your luck that you really really want to keep touching that person.
Genji is that fucking person. Even after he makes his peace with his body and his fate, there’s still that little part of him that shies away from touch – as though he feels like he’d dirty them. It takes months, but he comes to not only allow you to touch him, but he learns to seek you out as well. Zenyatta approves of it, partakes in it himself when he can although on a platonic level.
Of course, you’re far from just platonic touching – trust me it took a long time for you to coax the ninja into it. These days though, you just stick to holding hands, because if you can’t grope his pecs and shoulders, his hand will have to do. Genji humours you most of the time, lacing his fingers into yours and pulling it against his chest to cradle it. Sometimes he brings it up to his face as though to kiss it, forgetting that his mask is still securely fastened to his helmet. He’s squished your knuckles like that a few times, but you let it go once you see his body squirm in embarrassment and apology.
Some days, though…
Some days, you just can’t resist. Like today.
“M-master, what are you doing?” he stiffens up in your grasp, his torso and head swivelling enough so he can look at you over his broad shoulder.
You, on the other hand, just grin, catlike, and knead at what is in your hands. “What do you mean, what am I doing?” Come on, Genji, say it!
The ninja clears his throat and his hands drop from where they’ve shot up to his chest. “Why are you groping my ass?” his usually deep voice is squeaky and higher pitched than normal, turning even higher when you angle your hands so your fingers are teasing the seam of his crotch and inner thigh.
You giggle and purr at him, rolling your body and hips against him, rubbing all over him until Genji has to turn and hug you to pin your arms to your waist. “Master,” he narrows his eyes at you through the visor.
Snapping your teeth at him, you pull your arms out of his weak grasp and wrap it around so you can get back to playing with that bubble butt of his. “You know I love to hold your hand, right, kitty?”
You can almost see him roll his eyes, you certainly hear it though. “That’s not my hand, master,” he sighs but arches his back to push those fleshy globes further into your grasp anyway, secretly loving the feel of your expert touch.
“No it’s not,” you grin and kiss the underside of his jaw. “But today you just look too good from behind. I couldn’t resist.”
Finally deciding to play along, Genji pouts at you and nuzzles your cheek gently to avoid scratching you with the metal mask. “You mean I don’t look good from behind every day, master?”

Junkrat:
It’s sudden, out of now where your only warning is the sudden smell of chemicals and soot before his lips crash into yours. The air was sucked out of your lungs, he was taking it, taking it as freely as you were giving it to him. You could taste the soot on his lips before he pulled away with the biggest of smiles on his face while he butts his forehead against yours.
Roadhog:
A gruff voice, warm hands that bring your face so that you are both looking at one another. His kisses are quick, but sometimes they linger. Expressing his feelings when he lacks the words to craft in perfect detail how he feels for you. Much kinder, and sweeter than one would expect from him, leaning into his kisses with a smile on your face to hold his cheeks in your hands.

It was startling to see your name written on the wrist of Hanzo Shimada, you became silent, causing the Japanese man to stare at you trying to figure out what was wrong with you. He called your name, not your real name but your code name and it made you jump in response to the sound of his voice.
God, you wanted to hear him say your name. You’re real name, not your code name, but the one written on his wrist in such elegant print that it didn’t seem to suit you whatsoever.
You apologized and escaped from Hanzo’s line of sight to look at your own soulmate mark, written in characters that you didn’t understand. So this is your soulmate.
It was in the heat of the moment, you were simply going off of pure adrenalin at the thought of telling Hanzo your name after returning to the base. Jogging behind the Japanese man to yank on the back of his clothes you yelled your name when he turned around.
Hanzo was shocked, unable to hide it and he was even more shocked when you showed him his name on your wrist. Running his fingers over the raised characters, a peaceful smile on his face.
“I am happy to have finally found you.” his words are sincere, you could feel no lies in his words. Just pure and sincere happiness to finally meet you.

The streets were always being patrolled by the lower members of the Shimada clan as members milled slowly past but around the tiny house that sat innocently amidst the narrow row of residentials.
Genji could point out nondescript house even now: a mix of wood and brick modestly painted with the family crest of the ones inhabiting it: a master and apprentice.

You almost shrink back into your room, but that piercing look–how do they seem to glow with the light behind him?–pins you to the spot.
He raises an eyebrow at you, expectant, arms crossed over his chest and adding to the bulk trapping you from leaving.

The corners of his mouth turn upward, just ever so slightly. There’s a predator glint in his eyes and he inches forward. You swear your heart stops when he says, “I grow tired of waiting.”

He leans in even more, past the threshold of your door, but feet still firmly planted right outside of it. Your brain races to find answers, to formulate some sort of verbal response, to move and not just stand there like a deer in headlights.
Was Hanzo like this all along? Or was it because he liked to scare you? Was it because he was envious you gave everyone else a kiss? Why would he even be envious? You didn’t even think he cared.
The thoughts too much and the distance between this assassin closing in far too quickly, you screwed your eyes shut and planted your lips straight onto his forehead, perhaps with a bit more force than necessary. He grunts and immediately, the pressure and presence relieves itself as Hanzo moves back, looking just the slightest bit bewildered, his hand inching toward his forehead.
“Good night!” you cry in a panic, slamming on the button to have the door slide shut in his face.
You don’t get even one foot into your room before you’re on the floor against the door, the metal shockingly cool against your face. You just gave Hanzo a good night kiss like he was a little kid. An assassin with the power of two dragons and an aim deadlier than his words. You just treated him like a child.
You jump back when the door begins to shake, and then the distinct sound of quiet laughter shoots a bolt of chilly red fire through your stomach and outward all across your skin.
You’ve got it. It was one hundred and thirty percent, definitely, undeniably Hanzo’s fault.

While he’s not much of a tv person, he will sit down with you on the couch regardless to watch a few episodes of your favorite show together.
Focuses on making you relax and to help wind down especially after how long you cried, and if you just so happen to doze off on the couch Hanzo will remain there with you. Carding his fingers through your hair to sooth and help you sleep.
Genji:
Genji’s first reaction to you being sad is to get you to smile or laugh. Even if it means he has to pick you up and twirl you around to earn a laugh.
Will set some tea to make, even doing so in a traditional manner, enjoying how your eyes light up while you watch him even though he ruins the tea due to his over excitement.
Is sort of loud during your favorite show, especially when something he didn’t expect to happen well happens.
Soldier 76:
Jack might be a bit awkward, but he will do what he remembers if family doing to help him when he had a bad day.
So he’ll make you something warm to drink, turn the tv on, but keep the volume low and tuck you in close to his side so he can rub soothing circles on your back.
Will doze off on the couch with you most likely, his arms wrapped around you to hold you close.
