Hello~!<3 I was wondering how might Genji react to seeing his crush/best friend (during blackwatch) actually being alive with children of their own? They decide to join Overwatch's recall in order to protect their family as their previous partner was killed due to being with (the reader) at the time. But maybe the reader harbours some strong feelings towards Genji and he's great with their children? :3 Choice is yours for scenario or headcanons Hope this isn't too much trouble! Love the blog!<3

a/n: here you go, sweetie, i hope that these hc’s are alright! this was pretty sweet to write! 

  • Genji is stunned to see you, unable to believe that he’s seeing someone he knew, someone who was not only his friend but possibly his biggest crush that he had kept locked away in his heart standing happily with someone else, and a child swaddled up in a tight bundle that you showered with kisses. The golden band on your finger was like an arrow through his heart. 
  • It hurts him to see it, to see that happiness, he would have liked to have gauged the person you married to see if they were worthy of you if you would be treated well and taken care of, but the smile on your face and the swaddled baby are enough for him. 
  • Genji snaps at McCree when the cowboy ask him if he’s alright. He walks away fast, the image of your smile and the kiss you gave the baby and your spouse burned into his memory. He’s not sure why seeing you kiss your spouse hurt him so badly. 
  • Genji doesn’t see you again until after the Recall, it starts him to see you standing next to Lena with a child chattering a mile a minute to Lena which the young British woman easily kept up with them. 
  • The moment the child notices him, they run over and start cooing about how cool he looks and Lena, laugh’s while you come running over to apologize for your child. Genji chuckles, he see’s the flicker of recognizing it in your eyes before he removes his mask and speaks. 
  • The look of shock, sadness and something else in your features are all he see’s before you’ve pulled him in for a hug. One that’s so tight he isn’t sure if he’ll be able to escape it. 
  • Genji learns that you joined Overwatch’s Recall after losing your spouse to someone who was killing former Overwatch members, you joined to find their killer and bring them to justice. 
  • Genji bonds easily with your child, he eats up every little thing your child says especially when he’s called ‘cool’ and ‘regular ninja’s are cool, but cyborg ninjas are even cooler!’ is mystified when he double jumps. 
  • Genji feels that crush, the love he had for you buried away slowly returning bit by bit as he bonds with your child and spends time with you. Knows that it’s probably wrong, that he feels this way so he’ll keep his feelings to himself. 
  • Seeing Genji bonding with your child, and interacting with him again after assuming that he was dead for all these years sparks those feelings that you buried deep inside of you. 
  • You loved your partner, loved them so much that you are here to bring his killer to justice, but now seeing Genji again have you asking yourself if you ever really moved on from loving him or if your spouse was only a substitute for someone you couldn’t have. 

Ohhhh that last bit is heavy! Great work on the rest of it!

“Try again” with Genji, please?

“Try again,”
Genji is practically grinning underneath his mask. He hasn’t gone easy on you this round, and while you’re getting better, it’s not good enough to beat him.
“I’m tired,” you sigh.
You throw down your training sword and collapse on to the floor. The mat below provides a safe fall, as well as a nice surface to cool yourself down on.
“You’re doing so well,”
Genji joins you on the floor. Small streams of steam flow out of his mask as he takes it off, revealing his scarred face to you. He places a small kiss to your cheek, making you smile and blush.
“Thanks,” you mumble.
Maybe another try was in order after all.

Can i request Jesse’s, Hanzo’s and Genji’s reaction to you giving them boner by getting comfortable in their lap. (You’re started dating recently and haven’t have sex yet)

Jesse: 

  • Jesse will try to play it cool like he totally just didn’t pop a boner. Jesse’s praying to as many God’s as he can that you do not notice. 
  • Sweating profusely, fidgeting and stuttering when you move against him.
  • Tries to hide his boner with his hat when you move, but becomes embarrassed as all hell when you remind him later how he tried to hide his boner with his hat. 

Hanzo: 

  • Hanzo will try to move and adjust himself so you will not feel it or notice it. Hanzo is embarrassed by how he could do something like this.
  • Feels like the moment you notice his boner the relationship will be over. 
  • If you happen to notice, please assure this man that you are not going to break up with him over something as silly as an ill-timed boner. 

Genji: 

  • As much of a playboy as Genji used to be, he curses himself for popping a boner while you got comfortable on his lap. 
  • Tries to will his boner away by thinking of anything except how nice you feel in his lap, but it’s not working since all he can do is focus on you. 
  • After he moved his body just a bit too much, that’s when you noticed it and all Genji could do was hide his face in his hands while you tried to reassure him that everything was okay. 

Genji falls in love with an ex of his when he was a playboy but he doesn’t remember that he dated them.He broke their heart by either dumping them or cheating on them. How would that play out? BTW I love your blog and your writing. :3

Let’s say he cheated by sleeping with a hooker. His excuse? She was a high quality hooker. He had the money and couldn’t miss out on that greatness. Yeah, bye asshole. 

You don’t recognize him immediately, what with his cybernetics and all. But, when you catch wind of his name and history, your heart immediately sinks. To think you’d actually run into that douche again… The way he acts around you also pisses you off. It’s like he’s trying to pretend what he did never happened! The nerve!

Every time you were around him he’d always be so nice, trying to butter you up and whatnot… But you got really pissed when he eventually asked you out. Seriously? What the hell was he thinking? “As if I’d ever go out with you,” is what you say, and Genji feels so hurt and confused. Did you think you were too good for him? Genji will accept the rejection, but he needs an explanation! He’s never been anything less than kind to you, so what was with this attitude? 

Does he… Does he seriously not remember? Huh, shows how little he cared back then. You reminded him of your past relationship and the horrible way you two separated. His expression turns grave as the memories come flooding back. He didn’t recognize you at all. Not once did he consider he’d ever run into you again. And yet, here he was, head over heels for you yet again. 

Genji gets on his knees and apologizes profusely for the way he treated you back then. He knows now how terrible he was and assures you he is a changed man now. He would never consider doing such a terrible thing to you twice. He’d understand if you do not want to be with him, btu he just wants you to know he is sorry for hurting you. 

You do not immediately jump on the opportunity to date him again. You’re still far too worried he’ll break your heart again. But, you do keep an eye on him, noting that he actually has changed a lot. You still need some time to think it over, but dating Genji again is no longer completely out of the question. 

I love this! I do think it would be pretty darn obvious he’s changed.

HANZO SHIMADA

  • You two will definitely talk about kids, for this, you can have two possibilities… he might wanna have kids of his own, or just don’t, he will be to scare to raise a kid like his father did with him.
  • If you accidentally break something in the house, he will be the one to repair it, he loves to be needed.
  • Another thing that you will talk about it’s taxes… What married couple doesn’t talk about that?, But thank God money it’s not a problem for the both you, working for Overwatch leaves a lot of money.
  • Hanzo loves to buy cake after work, he always surprise you with one every night, you will make tea and just rest with him in the backyard while eating the cake.
  • He loves to dance with you in the kitchen while you’re cooking, especially slow dances. He just loves to hold you in his arms, he’s a lucky motherfucker because you’re his s/o.
  • “(Y/N), put that back, we don’t need that…” This is something that you hear a lot when you both go shopping, sometimes he’s right, sometimes he’s not… You want what you want.
  • Fights?… Well, been married comes with that… The couples that say they don’t fight are lying, there’s always something that will make you fight with him…
  • You asked Hanzo if he wanted to buy a house in Japan, you will be more than happy to live there, this made him realize how much you loved him, sacrifice everything you had on your natal country, family, friends, everything you are used to, just to !ale him happy… He might cried, but he won’t say anything.
  • No one touches your garden… Not even Hanzo, that’s some that you do just for you, you love Hanzo, but we all need something that it’s just for us, you… The Garden, Hanzo… Meditating and training.
  • You tried to learn Japanese for him, the first time you loved him in Japanese, he cried like a baby.
  • Of you have kids, in the house there are three/two langues you all speak, Japanese, English and your natal language.
  • When you argue, it’s in English, but sometimes it can be in Japanese, you’ve been learning and you can defend yourself in that language.
  • He’s your best friend, he loves you more than anything and he will do anything for you.
  • He’s the type of father that will not allowed his kid to get up from the table till they eat all the veggies.
  • In from of everybody … He’s a cold man and he pretends that he doesn’t have feelings, but not with you or his kids… He’s such a lovable father and husband, he loves playing with his kids.
  • “Dad… Can you help me with my homework?” Sure he will! , Hanzo it’s the type of father that he doesn’t know how to explain his kid the homework, he won’t give up till he finds a way.
  • He’s the type of husband that will buy his s/o something to wear in bed, just for him.

GENJI SHIMADA.

  • Honestly?… Been married to this man is the most annoying thigh in the world, in the good way.
  • Genji gets the best and the worst of you.
  • He loves making you scream… Not only bed… He thinks that you look gorgeous when you’re angry.
  • He will love to have kids with you, that’s the first thing he talked to you about in the honeymoon.
  • He counts the hours so he can home to you and rest in your arms.
  • Fights are not that common, he makes you scream… Yes, but you don’t fight, normally when you scream to him, he’s laughing at you.
  • “Genji for fuck sake! Don’t leave your underwear in the bathroom floor!”.
  • You travel a lot, his goal is to travel around the world the love of his life, you.
  • If he comes late from work, you will wait for him in the couch, he usually finds you asleep, he carries you to your room, he hugs you and falls asleep with you.
  • “Mom/Dad… Can I go out?”.
  • “Ask your dad…”.
  • “Dad… Can I go out with some friends?”.
  • “Ask your mom/dad…”.
  • “OH MY GOD!”.
  • He will try to bond with his kids, he will love if his little boy/girl trust him like a friend.
  • He’s the type of father that will follow his daughter to her first date… He needs to make sure that no one breaks her heart.
  • Expect a flower everyday.
  • He hates cooking, he really never learned how to, so when you’re not home and he needs to feed the kids, he will order pizza or take them to McDonald’s.
  • The same as for Hanzo… You asked him if he wanted to live in Japan or in your natal city, he was happy that you asked, but he doesn’t really care, his home is where you are.
  • He takes decoration really serious. He made angry the Home Depot guy… What?! Genji wanted the dark brown wood, not light dark brown.
  • Something’s broken in the house?… No worries, your man can handle anything… Can he?
  • When the two of you shower together, expect that to be a concert, he knows all that songs that you love, so he will make you sing, like it or not.
  • If you’re showering alone, he will open the hot water just to prank you.
  • Soba it’s not a dog… So the two of you will adopt one, Soba is more like a cat.

Would y’all be up to writing about how the characters w/missing limbs/body parts deal with phantom pain? So like Doomfist, Genji, Symm, etc. (pick whoever though, I think there’s like 6 of them including Torb lol)

a/n: i wrote for three characters that i chose, which are jesse, genji and symmetra!! hope that these three are okay anon! 

Jesse: 

Jesse’s phantom pain often hits him right after a nightmare where he remembers how he lost, the slow cutting of a dull blade into his arm all over the tattoo from his Deadlock days and how his butcher wanted to add it to their collection. 

He deals with his pain by massaging his stump, but it makes him even happier when you pepper the stump with kisses, replacing the pain with something warmer and softer. 

Genji: 

Genji handles it poorly, he went through with this to walk again, not to feel that horrible burning, stinging and gut-wrenching pain from losing his limbs, he doesn’t want to remember the pain, the betrayal he felt that day, but his mind thought differently than him. 

So when you take a seat next to him, just letting him feel how warm, real and human you are with his human and robotic hand Genji calms down, its a temporary balm, but it’s good enough for him. 

Symmetra: 

Satya will ignore it, choosing to focus on her work pain means nothing if she can continue to bring harmony and order with her work. But when her arm is damaged and she’s forced to see that nothing is there, the pain comes back as if it had never gone away. 

Touch is startling, but when Satya see’s that it is you rubbing soothing circles she relaxes and the pain slowly, but surely melts away into the back of her mind.
