I’m not sure I agree that tumblr is THE worst, but I agree with the spirit of your ask. Saying those negative things is unnecessary, and it’s an extreme mindset to have. You don’t have to make friends with everyone, but saying “fuck this person” because of one thing, an opinion…it just doesn’t seem right to me.
