A dark feeling began to grow in your chest at how horribly this had been going, hoping that your two friends would see each other a little better over a meal. Tears threatened to fall from your face but you blinked them aside and scarfed down the bowl in front of you.
You had just finished when Hanzo said something rude, you suddenly standing up and excusing yourself as you left. Grateful that you had to pay before for your food, you stood outside in the dark street with tears pouring down your face and you desperately tried to wipe them off.
You heard the two of them arriving behind you but you didn’t know if you could face them.
“I’m sorry,” you choked out, “I shouldn’t have done anything.”
One of them reached out for you but you were quickly gone, slipping away and shocking the two Ninjas that they lost track of you. Guilt welled up in the pair of them at the thought of you crying because of them, both unsure how to fix their own problems and the one they unintentionally gave you.
