I decided I needed to draw Lucio as a Merman for #mermay. Its the only Mermay picture I’ve done this year for… reasons. His shades are inspired by his new bitrate skin from the new event. Which I adore.
Hanzo felt a blush crawl on his face when he saw you feed his two noodle dragons biscuits. Knowing they were a part of him made him fall in love with you even more! The dragons enjoyed being played with too!
They were sort of like your house pets now, you didn’t need cats or dogs, the dragons behaved like both. Hanzo was afraid you wouldn’t like them at first, especially because they can be mean to someone when they first meet them.
He kisses your forehead and briefly kisses your lips too! “I’m glad you like them, my cherry blossom.” He says and he could see the dragons poking you to get your attention, one of them even nipping you. He scolds them, but they just nip at his finger and try to get your attention. They want to play!
Genji
His dragon is a little bit derpy to be honest. Whenever it took on a corporeal form it would stick its tongue out at him and scurry off. He tried catching it, and he saw you start playing with it.
It just loved your attention, and you fed it chips! This little green noodle dragon made the most random sounds as you tried to tickle it. You weren’t sure if it was laughing at you or laughing because you were tickling it.
He ruffles your hair and he kisses you, placing his hands on your waist. “He can be annoying.” He says. “Who, You or the dragon?” You joke which he just rolls his eyes at. The dragon starts calling for your attention, making noises similar to howling as it reaches out and lightly scratches you. Even if it is technically a part of Genji, this noodle is definitely jealous.

Reaper
He doesn’t like talking about his scars and burn marks that littered his face from the accident. He feels unattractive because of them, which is why he prefers to wear his mask even if it’s just the two of you.
He loves you with all his heart, but the mask is a sensitive topic for him. You wouldn’t have to see the scars every time you look at him.
Kissing is difficult, and he only moves his mask aside a little bit just to reveal his lips.
When you tell him that he’s ‘the most handsome man in the world’ He just scoffs a little bit, but he appreciates what you tell him. He’s grateful to have you as his s/o.
As your relationship progresses, he slowly becomes more comfortable to take off the mask, especially if you keep reminding him every day that he’s very handsome and that you love him.
After about a year and a half, he’ll become more confident about his appearance, but that doesn’t mean he won’t wear the mask, the mask is a big part of him that he won’t just let go.He won’t think of himself as ugly anymore. And it’s all thanks to you!
Genji
He’s thankful that he’s alive, but he truly does believe that he’s really ugly under the mask. He doesn’t take it off, only if he has to brush his teeth or go to sleep.
He wears his face plate when going to sleep if he’s with you, but when he’s alone he makes sure to lock his door before going to sleep. He doesn’t want you to wake up to such an ugly sight.
Even after half a year of dating, he still refused to take off his mask. He only takes off his mouthpiece if he’s going to kiss you. The world is better off with his cyborg ‘face’ than his scar-covered real face.
You always tell him how handsome he was, and how much you loved him, scars and all. After weeks of you begging to remove his mask, he finally does. He’s scared you’ll go back on your words and break up with him, so he just stays silent as you run your fingers over a few scars near his eyes and his mouth.
You loved him even more after that, and he becomes more comfortable taking off his face plate now, but only around you. He loves it when you start kissing some of his scars too! Do that and he’ll be blushing madly.
He doesn’t sleep with his armor on anymore either, other than the essential components that keep him alive at least. He doesn’t want you uncomfortable cuddling against cold metal.
