“I … forgive me. I didn’t mean to yell at you just…I’m just really scared. I’m afraid that if you go with me to this building, then you no matter what happen and I” At his words All Might had my hands in a fist”
“I won’t have time to save you. I know you’re very worried about me, but I promise you. I’ll be back in one piece.”
He put his hands on the door.
“I love you very much, y/n. And please forgive me again”
In a few minutes you will come out of your little shelter falling into the arms of his beloved hero.
Overhaul? Is that a hero, or a verb? And naw, I don’t wanna know these things! D: I still haven’t seen the movie that apparently exists. I will, though.
I don’t know these tags, because it’s rare that I come across these kinds of fics, but I will try to address this. This might end up being long, so I’ll put a cut.
I think in big part, because Tumblr is an echo-chamber and a circlejerk. People are encouraging each other (whether it be good or bad).
Also, because consuming and enjoying literature with mature themes and teenage characters is automatically a slippery slope to enjoying mature things with teens irl. I’m not saying that’s true or not. This is just why I think people freak out. You don’t know if an adult is reading these fics.
And tbh, idc. There are plenty of published novels with mature themes with teenagers and children in them. Sometimes, it’s just teens being teens, and sometimes, the writing is fucked up. And that’s the point. It’s like rubbernecking while driving by a tragedy. It’s engrossing, and you can’t look away.
People should read these things if they want, but with a critical eye. That is my opinion. For example, I read Lolita, and while it disgusted me, it also impressed me. The author made you almost sympathize with a pedophile. It shook me to my core. But I was aware that what the narrator did was wrong, and I could appreciate the effect the novel had on me. The effect being the almost-sympathy.
If someone is reading these things for the sake of reading about teens having sex and getting off on it, well that’s different, of course. And you may disagree that published novels and fanfics can’t compare in this context, but I do think these judgemental people will judge others for reading those, too.
It’s an anime!! I believe it’s on Crunchyroll, but I watched it on Hulu. They’ve only made up to season 3, and I am DYING FOR SEASON 4!!!
I think it’s good! It’s a bit over-the-top. Kind of like DBZ was. The main dude does a lot of inner monologuing and crying. But otherwise, I think it’s great. It’s not too dark and intense. Good for chilling. 🙂
Maybe Ashe’s eye colour is all due to this being a fantasy world (I mean there’s crazier things, like a talking gorilla), but what if she paid to have her eye colour changed with the technology of the day? On her parents’ dime? Partially as a way to get back at them–because whose parents would approve of that??–and partially because she thought, “Yeah, I wanna be a badass, let’s get some red eyes.”
You know that one thing where, when you raise your arms, your shirt rides up and you can see a sliver of flesh between your waistband and the hem of your shirt? Or when, if you wear a skirt and raise your arms, the hem of your skirt rides up? Hanzo is weak for that. So so so weak.
He’ll try to resist staring at you but his attention will be glued to that little show of skin until you tug your shirt/skirt back down. Licks his lips and thinks about running his tongue over that peek of skin, tasting the clean scent of you and enjoying the softness of your belly. Maybe even trailing over to your hip and kissing your hip bone if you let him.
Oh shit, is he drooling? No. No, he’s not drooling, you’re mistaken. He quickly wipes his chin and stalks off, face flushed and body stiff as he runs away to drown in shame…and lustful thoughts.
