It was after finishing a mission in Hanamura, Hanzo watched how you relaxed underneath a cherry blossom on a bench with Hana, laughing with the young MEKA Pilot over something that he couldn’t hear, but when Hana pointed him out the smile that lit up your face at seeing him made his heart swell with joy.
He realized that he was in love with your smile, in love with how he put it there just with you seeing him.
Genji:
During a pleasant outing is when Genji realized he loved you and just how much he loves you. The way you stayed close to him, holding his hand and just being close to him made him hold onto you even tighter, never wanting to let you go. It was your warmth and kindness that he fell in love with first, and then he realized on this outing that he loves everything about you.
Which made the kiss he shared with you at the end of the outing all the better.
Not sure if it’s the same for everyone, or if we call it/think about it in a different way but hybrid au’s that I most commonly see/write are about half-human and half-animals.
I’ve been writing humans with tails and ears. And some animal behaviours.

I’m watching The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu, and holy shit, I don’t remember being this disturbed when I read the book. Makes me wanna write some fluff to comfort myself (some Kitty Kompanion or hyrbid au domestic fluff ☺). But it’s so good!!
