The two of you lay quietly on your bed, Genji on his side, pressed flush against your form while your back was pressed against the wall. Your arms wrapped nice and snug around his ribs, legs tangled together. Genji couldn’t deny that he is feeling warm, loved, drowsy and content. Relaxed with your current positions, his guard lowered, being so close to you, close enough to feel your heartbeat and the warmth of your body around him makes him feel protected.
You’re hand massaging his scalp and messing with his hair made him feel even more relaxed, even more drowsy. Genji is utterly content and happy in your arms. He trusts you. Trust you to not harm him in his relaxed state, to close his eyes and just know that he is safe. Trust you to keep him warm, to have that warmth surrounding him puts him at ease. Trust you to come back safe to him, and him back safe to you so the two of you could relax with one another.
And most of all, he trusts you with his heart, with his feelings knowing that you would keep both just as safe as you do with him on the field. In this quite, warm and peaceful moment, Genji goes to sleep. Wrapped in your warmth and the familiar sound of your heartbeat.

He’ll put a blanket in his lap to make it more comfortable and have you sit while he plays video games, his arms around your waist to reach the controller

Genji was rarely seen around the base without you trotting behind or sitting next to him. It’s not that anyone minded; they were not offended by your presence at all.
