Me and @overdrivels have decided to run a Secret Santa this year, but with short fanfics instead of presents!
You must be willing to give me your email and your username in order to sign up. This is so I can contact you if need be and also so I can be the middle man to sending you your gift fic!
The minimum amount of words we would like you to write is 500 (Overwatch only), and the max is 1000ish. When you sign up, please provide three different prompts in the Google form linked below. This in the case of, for example, your secret santa is uncomfortable with writing smut and prefer to write you something fluffy. The prompts don’t have to be holidays-related.
The deadline for signing up is December 8th.
The deadline for writing the gift fanfic is December 30th. I will send the emails with the fanfics out on the 31st. You may choose to also post the gft fic you’ve written. I’m sure everyone wants to read them all! 🙂 I certainly do.
Now that I’m done with Reinhardt’s Tired of Waiting (Part 2), I’m looking to start on another fill for McCree. Question is, I’m torn between 4 different fics. If you’d like, take a vote on what you’d like to see. I’ve enabled the ability to choose 2 answers so don’t worry if you can’t decide which prompt sounds the best.
(This is a cute one so I wanted to do hcs for both my boys.)
While on a mission you find yourself in an old safe house. There’s no heating, but the house is so old that it’s got a fireplace. It’s cold and you’re both so surprised to see it that you agree to light a fire for the night.
Genji
He’s never seen a fireplace that wasn’t just for show. He sits kind of close so he can watch the fire. At first you sit a little further away, not quite sure how close is too close. Your blanket’s not very thick, and you shiver even though you’re wrapped up like a burrito. He notices you shaking and invites you to sit closer. He puts an arm around you for a moment, but then he has a better idea. He takes your blanket and pulls you into his lap and wraps the blanket over both of you. His body doesn’t give off as much heat as you expected, and his hands are cold as ice. But it’s nice being this close. If you’re not careful you could fall asleep on him.
Hanzo
It’s his idea to sleep in front of the fire. You had planned on dragging a couch over and bundling up in blankets to stay warm, but by the time you’re ready to sleep he’s built a nest of blankets on the floor. He’s pretty insistent that you’d only be cuddling for warmth. No other reason. In fact, he’s so insistent that you don’t even bother teasing him about wanting to hold you. He’s the big spoon, and you couldn’t be more cozy. By morning he’s holding you so tight that you have to wake him up to get away (not that you’re in a hurry to).
