Hanzo Shimada is an observant man — and “observant” is an understatement.
Growing up as the eldest son within a prestigious (criminal) family had influenced him in more ways than one could count. As much as he doesn’t want to admit it, his upbringing has majorly shaped him.
“You are a Shimada.” His father once told him. “You must never forget that.”
He is a Shimada: a man of iron strength, unwavering courage, and a steel gaze. Nothing slips past his observant eye. He’s always thinking, always analyzing — figuring out the who, what, how and why of everything he notices.
So when he notices his — their — picture frame gone, he’s a little bothered.
It’s not like you didn’t want to see it, right?

a/n: yes, yes you can request some for this sweet giant man. i hope that you like these!! 😀
- Loves cuddling and sleeping in as late as possible to just hold you close to him. Reinhardt gets a good laugh out of how you try every trick in the book to get him to let go when he’s in a cuddling mood.
- Is definitely the sort of person who would rub their beard on your face. There’s no escape.
- Is a fan of some soft PDA before going on missions. Love hugs, kisses and holding your hand.
- Worries about you on missions where you are not deployed together, you are not weak by any means, able to easily take him down and anything that Talon or other forces can throw at you, but Eichenwald taught him to not take everything for granted, that anything can happen to someone no matter how strong they are.
- Does little things that make you happy, dancing with his hammer is one of those goofy little things that he did as a spur of the moment thing when you first met, a way for Reinhardt to ‘grab your attention’ and he still does it till this day.
- Has on more than one occasion chased you with a giant snowball, with no intention of throwing it at you, but it’s a humorous sight to see such a giant man, laughing and smiling while he tries to not stumble over his feet to chase you with a gigantic snowball.
- Whenever you walk into the room everyone can see how much Reinhardt loves you, how his eyes soften full of love, how his voice loud and booming becomes something quieter and warmer. A voice he reserves for you and those close to him. And how he kisses you as if you are the most precious thing in the world to him.
