Someone pointed out to me that the same request was sent to two different blogs. I hid the blogs’ names in case they didn’t want in on any drama.
This is really discouraging to happen to a writer. If you do this, it says that you care heaps more about your request than the person writing it. This is a dick move.
Honest to god, how many times do we have to ask you all not to do this??

Same with art blogs! I ran an art blog and I found an anonymous user asking around for the same request, messaging me, my art friends, their friends, similar blogs. After several artists had drawn their request. Their excuse was “I just wanted to see how you’d draw it”.
Those are hours that the poor recipient would never earn back.
